What a great idea....

Way back in July 2013 a group of us got together to put on a show called the Sister Sessions... We hired a classy boutique studio in the back streets of East Brisbane - SYC Studios.   I've known most of our players for some years and had wanted to float the idea of having singer songerwriters getting together to sing  songs with similar themes - in an effort or even for my own satisfaction, to prove how very different we all are - and not just girls with guitars singing the same old 'you did me wrong' songs! I'd been disheartened many times with venues telling me that I wouldn't be included in a show or played on a local radio station because they already had someone just like me! Wrong - like the other players we know how very diverse we all are and the proof is definately in the making of this show.

The Sister Sessions includes a variety of local singers and musicians - all of which play and sing on the majority  songs - it's like sitting in someones lounge having a jam - we sing, play, talk and laugh and know that the intimacy of this live in the lounge concept allows our audience to come on a similar ride!
